Western Rivers Navigation
A team of professional licensed mariners teaches this 1-day course. Students are prepared by traditional means to pass the Coast Guard exams for deck general, navigation practical and navigation general.
Upon successful completion of this course, students will receive a certificate confirming that they have satisfied the following USCG requirement(s):
- The written examination requirements to add a Western Rivers route to any license as Master of Towing Vessels, Inland or Near Coastal; Mate of Towing Vessels, Inland or Near Coastal; or Apprentice Mate (Steersman) Inland or Near Coastal (exam module 075XX).
